Trust is the foundation of DevPass. Here's how we designed our verification system to be reliable and user-friendly.
Trust is the foundation of DevPass. Here's how we designed our verification system to be reliable and user-friendly.
Trust is the foundation of everything we're building at DevPass. For companies to rely on our platform, they need to be confident that every claim on a Developer Passport is verified. For developers to use our platform, they need to trust that their data is secure and under their control. Designing for trust is both a technical and a product challenge.
We use multiple verification sources: identity verification through official documents, GitHub analysis that confirms real contribution patterns, role-based assessments that certify specific skills, and professional timeline verification. Each verification is transparently scored and explained so both developers and companies can understand the evidence.
Developers control what information is visible on their passport, when they're discoverable, and which companies can contact them. Verification data is stored securely and separately from public profiles. We believe that trust without privacy is surveillance — both are essential for a platform that serves developers.
